The Quills Quarterly looks to promote new artists and writers from around the country. Started due to the current dry and constricting environment in literary magazines, The Quills Quarterly seeks fresh, innovative prose and poetry. We look for work that, in an inventive style, explores the challenges inherent to life. We're not looking for material that purposes answers to life's questions, but material that ultimately makes us feel more connected, whether that be through humor, drama or surrealism. Above all else, we are looking for original voices--and, of course, beautiful writing.
